St Leonard's Broad Blunsdon

The parish covers the village of Broad Blunsdon to the north east of Swindon just off the A419. We are linked with Highworth under the care of the vicar of the benefice of the parishes.

The church of St Leonard (built in the 13th century) is a Grade II* listed Cotswold style church. However, the church is more than a building – it is the body of people united in Jesus Christ. You will be most welcome at any of our services, and we hope that you will soon get to know our church family.

We are a community of Christians who seek to live out our faith at home, at work and at school to shine God’s light in Broad Blunsdon.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Broad Blunsdon is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Karen Jankinson or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
