All Saints church, the churchyard and the church hall at South Wingfield were all flooded by Storm Babet back in October 2023. But worship has now resumed in the church at 11am each Sunday morning!

++Justin Welby held a Prayer and picnic event at Crich Stand on 13 April 2024. The rain held off for the picnic although the wind and chilly temperatures didn't. None of that prevented the joyfulness of the day though.
