Robert's Illuminating talk is about his life of many hats/Robert has many fascinating events in his life, work and hobbies. As well as the Steam Railway he is involved with the RNLI, Fire Service and Scouting so come along to find out more.Admission includes a glass of wine or a soft drink, cheese and nibbles. £10-00 per person. Visit the Story Corner in our church.Come and enjoy the fun activities available in the Story Corner for St Peter’s Tiddlers.There is a new theme every month.The theme for July and August is Jonah and the Whale.Have fun with our activities including colouring, games, bible story books and craft activities.Make a whale with an opening mouth or see if you can flip Jonah into the whale’s tummy!There are also jigsaws to have fun with.The church is open daily from 10 am – 4 pm, so come in and enjoy the activities and this place of peace.ORWhy not download the activity to do at home.
Every 5 years a structural survey is required on the fabric of the church and from it a report is presented regarding work required urgently or in the near future.From the report we are now commencing on the work required which will cost around £30,000- £40,000.This work includes replacement of stone, replacement of gutters and roof work as well as general maintenance.We will keep you updated as the work continues. The PCC does not get any money to do this work so please help and support us so we can continue to keep this church open in future years.Thanks you for your support.
