After 4 years without a priest we are happy to say that this week the Bishop of Berwick and Archdeacon of Lindisfarne met with the PCCs of Amble and Chevington to approve our parish profile and formally sign off on the recruitment of a Priest in Charge to serve both parishes.

We are looking forward to the next few months and hope that by Christmas our new priest will be with us.
