We are hoping to improve the path from Bishopstone Road to the church porch, but it is very steep and we have to be careful as there are tombstones and monuments along the route as well as trees and roots to take into account. The architect has measured the area and unfortunately, we can’t make a fully disabled compliant slope, but they have given us 2 options which we could do and we would like your views. Please note that we will still have to do the best we can, but your answers will help us in the deliberations which are to be had.If you would please help by completing the survey, we would really appreciate your time and views.Complete Survey
You are invited to a special service of Loving Remembrance on Sunday 29th October at 6pm at St John the Baptist Stone. The service will be a gentle and reflective space of prayer and reflection where you are safe to remember your loved one, the joy you shared together, and to mourn their loss. We will sing hymns of faith and hear words of hope. As part of the service, names will be read in act of remembrance as a candle is lit. If you would like your loved ones name or names to be read out, please fill in the online form. You are welcome to submit names whether or not you are planning to attend the service, but it would help us to know if you are intending to come. There will be similar services in Haddenham on November 5th and Cuddington on November 26th and there is likely to be an opportunity in Dinton in the New Year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Canon Phil Groves or the office at office@wychertvale.org
