Second Sunday of the month; Morning Prayer, 11 am (10 am during British Summer Time). Third Sunday of the month; No service at St Stephen's, instead a Holy Communion with our neighbouring parish of Peldon St Mary's, 11 am. Fourth Sunday of the month; Café Church, 11 am (10 am during British Summer Time). If there is a fifth Sunday in the month, there is usually a Benefice Service either here, Peldon, West Mersea (SS Peter and Paul) of East Mersea St Edmund King and Martyr. This is an informal service with refreshments served during worship. There is a theme for the day with songs, prayers and a Bible reading and/or drama to introduce some discussion.
