Obsolete and interesting coins

Notices News_about_our_building
Over the years, people have given me obsolete British coins to try to raise money for St Julian’s. I’m now about to bank a lot of them, but before doing so wondered if any of you wanted to buy any? I have half-crowns, florins, shillings, sixpences, threepenny bits, pennies and halfpennies – and a farthing or two. These bear a range of heads, from Victoria to Elizabeth (and one or two before). I also have a few commemorative coins – Churchill crowns, a crown commemorating the late Queen’s Silver Jubilee and a few others. If you want to buy any of these, please email me to make an offer by 20 April at [email protected] Note that some of the silver coins are pre-1921, with (as I recall) a higher silver content than later ones. Note too that they are all coins which have been in circulation: they are not in mint condition. And if you have any yourself, you’d like to get rid of, please pass them on to me: the money will go to our new windows. Andy Sharp
