We look forward to welcoming the new Rector, Miles Welborn

The Bishop of Crediton is pleased to announce that, subject to the completion of the statutory formalities, the Rev’d Miles Welborn has been appointed as Rector of the Lyn Valley Mission Community, Diocese of Exeter.

Miles is currently Assistant Curate of Bampton with Clanfield, including Aston, Lew, and Shifford, in the Diocese of Oxford.

He trained for ordination at Ripon College, Cuddesdon, and was previously a Verger at Hereford Cathedral.

Miles will be moving to North Devon with his wife Katie, who is also ordained, and their 9 month old son Jesse.

Miles is excited to be following God's call to ministry in rural North Devon and is looking forward to living and ministering in the Lyn Valley Mission Community.

The licencing will take place on Thursday, 20th June, 7.30pm, at St Mary the Virgin, Lynton, by Bishop Jackie, Bishop of Crediton.
