Worship, prayer and community were all well established at St John's Welling prior to the pandemic. When the regular methodologies could not be undertaken the innovation of our congregation to uphold and even increase the schedule of worship, prayer and community was amazing.
The result is the following timetable of weekly worship, prayer and community that embraces the new technologies mastered plus the return of what preceded the pandemic in an incredibly innovative way:

In addition St John's Welling has house groups that meet regularly (either online via zoom or in person). There is a Ladies group that converses on WhatsApp and a Men's group that regularly is out together for a curry.
The St Johns Welling | Alpha Online course has been successfully run in the past with new courses starting regularly.
Children and Youth groups meet regularly in person.
Open Door Children and Carer's group meet Thursday 1.30pm to 3.00pm
Lamplighters, the fun activity group for primary aged children meets Fridays 6.15pm to 7.30pm
Bowls Club meets weekly on a Tuesday afternoon.
TOFFs (Those over 55) meet once a month on the 1st Wednesday.
