Blendon: St James the Great

We welcome everybody to St James Church and will always try our best to help you feel comfortable and welcome. We have a service every Sunday at 10.30am and will have refreshments after the service. There are always activities/toys for young children and we welcome the distracting sound of children playing/crying during the service. We run a stay and play toddler group during term times and hold regular events such as a Spring plants plus, Pancake evening, Christmas Fayre and more. We also contribute to the local food bank with donations taken from members of the congregation and members of the public.

"The parish of Blendon: St James is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Rochester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
