All Saints, Clayton West w High Hoyland

All Saints’ is a small, friendly church at the heart of the village of Clayton West. It was opened in 1875 to serve the local community and is still doing so today. Through our worship and involvement in Clayton West and the wider world, we hope to show something of God’s love and concern for all.

The church is open daily from 8am until 4pm. Please feel free to come inside and say a prayer or just enjoy a moment of quiet.

Inside All Saints’ there is a lot to look at including the Kempe stained glass windows, the beautiful screen behind the altar celebrating Celtic saints and the Wintour Memorial which commemorates the Battle of Jutland.

We have social events during the year including a Christmas meal out and summer walks followed by a pub lunch. The walks are optional, you can still join us for lunch! everyone is welcome (you don’t have to go to Church). Contact us for details.

Every fourth Sunday at 8:00 AM for ½ hour

Morning Worship

This service is less formal than Communion, is led by members of the congregation and lasts about 50 minutes. Toys etc provided for small children Tea & coffee afterwards and time for a chat

Every fourth Sunday at 9:15 AM for 50 minutes

Sung Communion

This is a fairly traditional service that lasts about 70 minutes. We have an extensive collection of services that are used throughout the year according to the season. A good choir leads the singing.Check the noticeboard or magazine to find the venue for second or fifth Sunday. Toys etc are provided for young children. Most people stay for coffee and a chat after the service.
