Cleadon is a village in South Tyneside that is midway between South Shields and Sunderland. It has agricultural roots, but is now mostly a dormitory settlement for people to commute from in order to work.
We are the Church of England community within Cleadon. We seek to discover what God is doing in the lives of those connected with Cleadon and affirm what he is doing by joining in with him.
Our campus can be found at the junction of Cleadon Lane and Sunderland Road beside Cleadon’s pond. Often we will be seen within the village, some can occasionally be found at home (although that is not the experience of all of us!). The campus comprises the worship area (also confusingly known as the church for the church is the people), the Parish Hall, the Old School Room and the Vicarage.
