Our church is Church of England dedicated to St
John the Baptist and has close links to our village
school of the same name.
The church is situated on Vale Road next to the
doctor’s surgery and the Community Centre.
The church was built in 1951 although there is a
much earlier church in the grounds of Colwick Hall
which is situated behind the racecourse just down
the road on the way to Nottingham.
On Sunday our service (Parish Eucharist) begins at 9.15am and lasts
about an hour. Children are very welcome and there
is a Sunday School that takes place during the first
part of the service.
A Family Eucharist happens on the first Sunday of the month
when their is a Baptism.
If you would like to come along to one of our
services you will be made very welcome.
