St Margaret’s church is a growing church. The congregation are made up of different ages, cultures and social backgrounds. The church has undergone a great change in the last ten years when it has travelled from proposed closure to revival. Over 80% of the congregation are recent arrivals so there is a great openness to welcoming new people into the church family. The welcoming nature of the church has attracted people from across the world some of whom are refugees. The church as a building has also undergone a great change and has become a community centre attracting local people and groups into the building. It is our mission and aim to be the Centre for the community. The gospel words that fire our vision come from Matthew 25; 34-36.
