St George's, Crosby (Scunthorpe)

We are called to stoke the fires of Faith, by Sharing Jesus, Growing Disciples and Serving Crosby & Berkeley

Stoking the fires of faith means actively fuelling and intensifying our religious belief through consistent Spiritual and Inclusive practices, rooted in the Sacraments. Enabling us to Share Jesus, Grow Disciples and Serve the communities of Crosby and Berkeley.

Sharing Jesus in all we do through our worship which is grounded in the sacraments. Through actively speaking about and sharing our Faith with others we meet. In working to be more Christlike Christian in ourselves, our actions and our interactions with all people. It’s about breaking bread with all people, making room and offering a home for everyone.

Growing Disciples is about offering opportunities to deepen our relationship with God through prayer, worship, studying and collaboration. Making new disciples, deepening the faith of existing disciples. Welcoming disciples from all walks of life, gender, and ethnicity.

Serving Crosby and Berkeley.  Our Churches were built by the communities for the people of the community. Building on that heritage we strive to serve the people and community of Crosby and Berkeley, helping to strengthen, develop and aid those living in our diverse multi-ethnic, multi-generational, multi-faith space. Offering a Spiritual, Physical and Pastoral home for all.
