The original Church of St Andrew built in 1910, was replaced when the congregation became too large. In 1964 the people of Cuffley raised over £63K to build a new St Andrew's Church. Designed by Clifford Culpin a chartered architect. Built by Townsend and Collins of Enfield.
A modern non-tradional styled Anglican Church is situated above the 'Undercroft' hall used for functions. With a triangular front facing Cuffley Village Shops on Plough Hill, Cuffley.
Upon entering through the glass doors, the high stained oregon pine ceiling and beautifully stained glass windows give St Andrew's Church an individual appeal of architecture at its best.
Above the high altar, which is the longest in the Diocese, is an interesting stainless steel sculpture.
At the rear of the South aisle stands the font, lit from a skylight above to heighten its stainless steel dome designed with the Church.
The Lady Chapel with glass pannelling is used for the mid week Holy Communion Service.
