Our  Mission Statement -   "Making the light of Christ known in this community"

If you would like to visit St George's we have services every Sunday at 9:30am with Junior church. Second Sunday of the month at 9:30am all age worship with sections of Scouts and Guides and afterwards we meet informally for coffee and fellowship.

Did you know that there are a wide range of activites already taking place in the Centre just waiting for you to join? Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Explorer Scouts.

If you would like to book a wedding or baptism please could you attend the enquiry hour at Christ Church  held every Thursday between 7 and 8pm. ~Please see Christ Church for more information.

In 2017 the parish are supporting the following charities: Christians Against Poverty, UNICEF, Life Share & Dementia UK.

We now have a part- time priest assigned to the parish. For weddings and baptisms please contact Rev Miles or Rev Carol for information and consultation on Thursday evening 'Enquiry hour' .

Did you know that St George's Centre is available to hire? the main room is ideal for children's parties and other functions with a fully licensed bar available. For Room Hire please email the Centre Manager Ged leaving a contact number.

Parish Retreat
This Years Parish Retreat at Hyning Monastery has the theme of `Hidden Treasure` If you would like to join the retreat that runs from Monday October 30th to Wednesday 1st November .Please let Rev Miles know if you would like to attend and more detail will be available shortly The retreat will be back to back with Dr Kershaw's hospice retreat led by Pauline so it is possible you could come later in the week or possibly stay a full week. Going on retreat is a time for quiet contemplation and spiritual renewal, a place for peace and space.
