Some comments made of Colin: 'Colin is the closest we can hear to Baby Dodds in this day and age, he belongs to that group of performers who live and breathe the music. There are very few drummers outside the USA who understand the real language of traditional jazz drumming. Colin is one of that select few' - John Petters 'I took a controlled gamble by bringing together Mike Hutton, a young bassist renowned on the modern scene and Colin Bowden, doyen among New Orleans-style drummers. I have long admired Colin's use of the whole drum-kit to drive a band along' - Humphrey Lyttleton   Tickets costing £10, are available from: Mrs R.
