| Sunday 17 to Monday 25 January | Prayer for Christian Unity Week 2010 Churches around the world are marking the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity from 17th to 25th January. To mark the occasion this year, rather than simply talking or thinking about praying I thought it would be a good idea to do some praying! To launch the week there will be a service in St Mary Magdalene, Debenham at 7pm on Sunday 17 January, followed by a social and some refreshments in Dove Cottage, to which all Christians are invited in Debenham and the Benefice, irrespective of church. |

A peal attempt at Debenham in the morning, rung by Suffolk ringers as part of their peal week and should include some local ringers. Pancake Lunch at St Catherine’s, Pettaugh from 12 pm – 2 pm. Comprising soup and sweet and savoury pancakes. This will be solely in aid of our two adopted charities: Debenham First Responders and The Prisoners’ Education Trust.
