WELCOME to St John the Evangelist, a beautiful church in the picturesque village of Denby, Huddersfield.
St John’s holds Sunday and midweek services.
Events include monthly Wednesday coffee mornings, lunches, fairs, heritage open days, concerts and film nights inviting everyone to attend.
The mother and toddler group meets every Monday morning (usually except public holidays).

It’s the perfect venue for weddings and baptisms.
The venue is available for hire at a reasonable rate for functions, meetings and community group activities. There is a toilet and kitchen for use and the building is accessible for disabled visitors.
Audio Visual equipment available to hire in church - please check for details and price. Great for showing films, photographs, presentations, wedding and special occasion memories and more....

St Johns Denby PCC meets first Monday of the Month usually (subject to change) unless it is a joint PCC meeting held at another Parish church either Holy Trinity Denby Dale or St Nicholas Cumberworth. Please check date and time with Ruth Bilton on 01484 863916 if you are interested in attending the committee meeting or check the website for details of next meeting. Young people always welcome to attend!
