WELCOME to St John the Evangelist, a beautiful church in the picturesque village of Denby, Huddersfield.
St John’s holds Sunday and midweek services.
Events include monthly Wednesday coffee mornings, lunches, fairs, heritage open days, concerts and inviting everyone to attend.
The mother and toddler group meets every Monday morning (usually except public holidays).

It’s the perfect venue for weddings and baptisms.
The venue is available for hire at a reasonable rate for functions, meetings and community group activities. There is a toilet and kitchen for use and the building is accessible for disabled visitors.
Audio Visual equipment available to hire in church - please check for details and price. Great for showing films, photographs, presentations, wedding and special occasion memories and more....
