The communities we serve in North Northamptonshire include both town and country settings, and we share a passion to show God's love here. We also share a desire to follow the Holy Spirit who is at work in many different places and in many different lives in our town and villages. Everyone is welcome at our churches, of whatever age, background or tradition.
St Giles Church is a thriving and lively community of Christians, worshipping and working together to share the Gospel. We are able to enjoy a wide spectrum of styles of worship together and in 2009 we celebrated 40 years as a joint Anglican (Church of England) and Methodist Church.
Christians have worshipped here for at least 1,000 years and we seek to continue to show God's love in our community today and to work together with our sister churches in nearby villages, as well as other groups within our town.
Desborough is a growing Northamptonshire town of around 9,000 people, between Kettering and Market Harborough. It has a proud heritage and a strong sense of community.
There are many organisations attached to St Giles, catering for the social and spiritual needs of a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds. Our Community Centre, near to the church, is the base for most of these groups and is well-used by many in the local community.
