St Barnabas, Downham is a friendly, welcoming church, open to all. We are part of the Catford (Southend) and Downham Team ministry.

The main Sunday Service is a Sung Eucharist at 9.30 a.m. The first Sunday of the month is an All-Age Eucharist and Junior Church for children aged 4 - 11 years old meets on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month during school term times.

The Church is usually open on Saturday mornings between 10.00 -11.00 a.m. for enquiries regarding banns, weddings, baptisms, etc or for the opportunity to spend time in the quiet.

Usually on Saturday Mornings 10 - 11 a.m. for Parish Office Hour for enquiries regarding Banns of Marriage, Weddings, Baptisms and other pastoral matters. Please contact the Priest to confirm arrangements to meet.
