St Peter
NEW HEATING at St Peter’s Church:
Please note that work starts on Monday 21 July on the new heating system and will last for about eleven weeks. During most of this time the building will have to be closed to the public for safety and security reasons. It is hoped that church services will be possible depending on the state of the building at those times.
Please note that the service on 3 August that would normally be at Dumbleton will now be held at St Katharine's Wormington WR12 7NL at the usual time of 10.30 am. Off-road parking is available in the adjacent farmer's yard - signs to this will be in place.
Introduction: St Peter’s is an historic building at the heart of a small rural community. All receive a warm welcome at our friendly Sunday services. Normally, the church is opened every day at around 9 am and locked at dusk.
Explore Churches: We also have a page on Explore Churches - the perfect place to discover a love for churches and to find out all the information you need to visit them.
Safeguarding: "The parish of Dumbleton: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
