The Priory Church of St Peter is the historic town centre church of Dunstable. It is part of the Dunstable Team Ministry, which comprises most of Dunstable with a parish population of some 30,000 people.
St Peter’s is a large and impressive building which is the nave of all that remains of an originally much larger Augustinian Priory Church.
There is a strong musical tradition which is a significant factor in defining the worship style, which is moderate catholic. The Priory Choir of boys and adults and the Priory Girls Choir each has a 'cathedral' repertoire.
The Team Rector of Dunstable, the Revd Richard Andrews, is the principal minister at St Peter's.
