We love worshipping God and there is a broad spectrum of services. You should be able to find a service that helps you meet with God and know that you have been in his presence. Our unique set of bells in the bellcage call people to worship every Sunday and are rung from 9.30.
Usual Sunday service times are 8.00am (BCP Holy Communion) and 10.00am (type of service varies). Our Director of Music Martin Huggett is keen to recruit new members to the choir. Contact him on 01206 395927. The robed choir sing at Eucharistic services and we have a strong choral Matins tradition.
We believe God heals today and there are regular healing services throughout the year. Our Toddler anCarers group meets on alternate Fridays from 9.30-11.30. Contact Liz Digby for details 01473 312281.
Please contact the Rector for details on all services as there are occasional variations.
We love doing weddings. We will work with you to help you make your wedding very personal and special within the confines of Anglican liturgy. Please contact the Rector to book your date as early as possible. Bookings already being taken for two years hence! You might like to consult yourchurchwedding.org to help your planning.
Baptisms take place usually during a Family Service in the main Sunday service at 10.00.
Usual pattern 2014: 1st Sunday Benefice communion at 10.00 in East Bergholt or 11.00 in Brantham (check thechurch website for venue) 2nd Sunday Communion, 3rd Sunday Family service, 4th Sunday Choral Matins. Check the website as there are liturgical variations!
