We are a friendly village church that specializes in traditional BCP worship. We are one of the CHEQS parishes and part of the South Cotswold Team Ministry.
The church retains many original Norman features particularly in the porch and doorway. The saddle-back tower was added in the 13th or 14th century.
The base of a 14th century cross stands in the churchyard. The shaft of the lectern came from Tewkesbury Abbey - it came into the possession of a parishioner who used it as a parrot stand. On the demise of the bird she returned it to its original purpose.
Just over the River Leach is the church of St Michael and St Martin also known as Bouthrop church which also has Norman origins. John Keble (Keble College Oxford) started his ministry as curate of this church. Bouthrop church is now maintained by The Churches Conservation Trust
