Our 12th Century Church at the start of the 21st century has its foundations firmly embedded in the Good News of Jesus, with worship that ranges from the traditional Book of Common Prayer through to the current Common Worship; with hymns of praise from ‘Ancient and Modern’ to ‘Mission Praise’. Therefore we cater for everyone whatever their Christian upbringing and experience, from the mature Christian to the very young and their families; and all communicant members of their own Church are welcome to share with us at the Lord’s Table.
We welcome you and your families to any of our Sunday services, and if you join us at the 10:15 am Family Communion Service we would meet with you over refreshments afterwards.
During school term Junior Church meets for about 50 minutes beginning at 9.45 am. This includes refreshments for the children who then join the main congregation for communion.
During the school holidays the Parish Communion service is shortened to about 50 minutes with special provisions for the children.
The Evening Services take place at 6.00 pm.
On the fifth Sunday we have one combined service of Holy Communion at 10:45 am, followed by a shared lunch in the Church Hall or in the Garden in the summertime. There is no evening service on this Sunday. Please check the calendar for details.
In addition to our normal services, special event or celebration services will be listed separately (see Services and Events). Only in exceptional services will a service not take place, if travelling some distance please call us beforehand to confirm.
