Edwyn Ralph: St Michael

Edwyn Ralph church is a little way off the road from Bromyard to Tenbury Wells, just near the remains of a motte and bailey.   This gorgeous church, dating from about 1170, contains a significant collection of medieval stone effigies – they commemorate the Edefen family. But it is the present occupants of the village who you will meet if you come to one of our services – and you will be greeted warmly whatever the weather. The services are modern, with hymns from several centuries, accompanied by a splendid harmonium.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Edwyn Ralph is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Mari Nowell - 01885 482442] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [ Mandy McPhee who can be contacted on 07999028076 or 07875757396]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services
