Nyasura Parish – The Elland Mara Link Parish

Nyasura Anglican Parish is in Bunda, which is situated in the South West of the Mara region, near the Serengeti National Park. Bunda is a small town, 70kms south of Musoma, where the Cathedral is situated.

The Parish has three churches, Nyasura, Migungani and Manyamanyama, and was launched in March 2004, under the pastoral care of the Rev’d Charles Edward Achoki, assisted by Lay Readers Nowadia Makale and David Mutani. The Churchwarden is Halleluya Samuel Habimana, the Parish Secretary Frances Mukirya Sender, and the Parish Treasurer Pamela Frances Mukirya. There is a Parish Council, and various committees and departments.

In the Parish is a Sunday School, Mothers’ Union, Boys Brigade, Girls Brigade, a Youth Group and a Bible Study and Prayer Team.

A permanent church building will open in October 2008.
