St Barnabas Church is a group of Christians of all ages and varied backgrounds called together by God.

We believe that our lives — beautiful yet broken — are transformed by God as we celebrate the story of Jesus' death and rising again. In the breaking of bread at the Eucharist, we receive a new freedom and openness before God and with one another. We praise God for renewing our tradition of worship as a sign of hope in our local community.

Offering our lives in thanksgiving to God for all we have received, we seek to join with those who work for God's love and justice in this divided and hurting world.

To the glory of God, our church building is a holy place of prayer and service in the less affluent part of Epsom.

Book of Common Prayer
Worship for All
Children are welcome at all our services, but we make a special effort to be accessible and involve children and young people in this laid back service. Holy Communion is celebrated and shared around the altar as usual, and our aim is to offer something for everyone of whatever age. This service is also the perfect occasion to include a Baptism (Christening) as it is usually shorter and very informal. Do come and join us!
Every first Sunday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour

Parish Eucharist
Our main Sunday service takes place at 10:15am on Sundays. On the 2nd,4th, and 5th Sunday of the month it takes a slightly more traditional feel that is relaxed and accessible. It is centered on the Eucharist, also called the Mass or Holy Communion, and includes a mix of traditional and contemporary hymns and songs, sometimes accompanied by the organ. A sermon is usually preached as part of this service. Afterwards we meet over coffee and refreshments for a much enjoyed time to socialise. All are welcome to join us!
Every second fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour
Family Friendly Sunday School Refreshments Common Worship
3on 3 Service- A laid-back, contemporary service.
Our worship is usually relaxed and informal, but once a month we go the extra mile and experiment and play in this service. We try more creative ways to explore the Bible story and discover what it is saying to us today. Then we gather around the altar to share in Holy Communion where we find sustenance for our own faith journey.
Every third Sunday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour
