Its' 15c perpendicular tower is very lofty and imposing, below its battlements the letters spelling out the famous family name appear in stone on the four sides of the tower. ER PY NG HM with crowned Ms for the virgin between each letter. The interior is very light and ornate, with many features and fine stained glass. The famous Brass of Sir John Erpingham with the history of the family is in the South aisle. Guidebooks and leaflets, provided for the many hundreds of visitors who find their way to this idyllic spot each year, detail the dedication and generosity of many generations of worshippers.
