Our church is set in the heart of a small market town in the Vale
of the White Horse. The building dates from the thirteenth
century, and has experienced an exciting history which includes
the destruction of the spire during the Civil War.

The Simeons Trust has been patron since the 1840s. We are the
only Anglican church and the parish comprises the entire town.
There is a strong ecumenical tradition in Faringdon. Together
the united churches run a thriving Family Centre and Fair Trade
and Christian bookshop. We also share services and run a joint
Holiday Bible Club each summer and an Alpha course each
Autumn. We have link mission partners in Jordan and Nepal.

Our services are marked by diversity of style, ranging from lay-
led open prayer to BCP communion.

Sunday

Holy Communion (BCP)
A said Prayer Book service with a short address
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour

Saints Alive - All Age Service
Lay-led all-age service for the whole church family, with a children's orchestra and worship group
Every first Sunday at 10:30 AM for ¾ hour

Holy Communion (CW)
Reverent, family-friendly communion service, with private prayers for healing. Sunday school groups meet during the service
Every second and fourth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Morning worship with Baptism
All baptisms are conducted during this service. If there are no baptisms this is Common Worship Morning Prayer. Sunday school groups meet during this service
Every third Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour

Evening Service
Holy Communion (CW); 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month. Ecumenical United Service; 2nd Sunday of the month Prayer Service, Informal Service; 4th Sunday of the month. Evening Prayer (BCP); 5th Sunday of the month. From 7th November 2010 evening services at All Saints will begin at 4pm.
There is no evening service on Christmas Day, 25 December 2011 every Sunday at 4:00 PM for 1 hour until Sunday 1st April 2012

Prayers at All Saints'
Every Monday at 9:00 AM for ½ hour

Tuesday

Pause for Prayer (at 20 Market Place, Faringdon)
An informal session of open intercessory prayer.
Every Tuesday at 9:00 AM for 1 hour

Julian Meeting
An ecumenical meeting for meditation and contemplative prayer, held in the home of a retired minister
alternate Tuesdays every Tuesday at 8:00 PM for 1 hour

Wednesday

Holy Communion (BCP)
Every first Wednesday at 10:00 AM for ½ hour

Wednesday Group
An informal meeting for Bible Study, discussion and prayer, held in the home of church members
alternate Wednesdays, except in Lent every Wednesday at 8:00 PM for 1½ hours

Thursday

Morning Prayer
We read the Morning Prayer canticles, responses and Psalm; hear Bible readings; time of open prayer
Every Thursday at 9:00 AM for ½ hour

Thursday Group
An informal, friendly group who meet for Bible study, prayer, discussion and chat. At the home of church members
alternate Thursdays, except in Lent every Thursday at 8:00 PM for 1 hour
