St Leonard, Farlington

St Leonard’s, Farlington is one of the 162 English Parish Churches dedicated to St Leonard, a 5th century Frankish nobleman.
This simple 12th century Church, surrounded by the churchyard and peacefully situated overlooking a village much changed in recent years, continues to remind visitors of the “peace that passes all understanding”. It sends them on their way quietly strengthened by the spirit of those still living and of those who have gone before ‘to light inaccessible hid from our eyes’, even after spending a brief amount of time in the Church.
We welcome visitors to reflect a while in this place of worship (open daily), to add their comments in our Visitor’s book and to take a moment to read the cards showing details of our Church.
