The Parish chucrch of Farnley, St Michael and All Angels is situated on the edge of Farnley Park in West Leeds. It is a grade 2 listed buidling with many interesting features. The present church was built in 1885 but there has been a chapel on that site since at least 1240. The Bell Tower from the previous church, built in 1761, can be seen in the grounds of the present church and the pulpit is made of oak from the old church.
The East window depicts the Last Supper, Crucifixion and Ascension. The Font cover bears the mouse symbol of Robert Thompson of Kilburn fondly known as "The Mouseman"
Today regular weekly services, baptisms and weddings are held and a monthly magazine is produced.
