St Augustine's was first consecrated in 1839. It's history can be read on our benefice website at:
Services of Holy Communion on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, at 9.30am, followed by tea/coffee afterwards. The 4th Sunday communion service is from Common Worship Order One in contemporary language. On the 2nd Sunday the service is more informal, with guitar-led music (and occasionally keyboard). Visitors are very welcome to come to either service!
Parking is available on the verge of the road opposite the church, but great care should be taken over opening your car door, getting out and crossing the road (because it is a busy A road).
