The pre-Norman tower has a fine ring of six bells (Anyone interested in learning Bell Ringing or groups wishing to ring the bells should contact Reverend Jenny Cooper on 01953 789702)
Urgent work has been completed on the tower thanks to financial support from various bodies e.g. EH/HLF, NHCT, Garfield Weston, NCT, and the Round Tower Churches Society. A superb local initiative (The Forncett Festival 2007) raised over £5,000. Final costs exceeded £60,000.
The organ was built by Holdich has been overhauled and renovated. A separate appeal (£500) covered half the costs and matched a bursary from the Holdich Family History Society.
The church has connections with Wordsworth; his sister, Dorothy, lived here with her uncle, the rector, William Cookson.
