Croxton St John the Baptist (Ruins)
(Diocese of Norwich)
The Church Commissioners have prepared a draft scheme providing for the sale of the ruins of the former church of Croxton St John the Baptist and the churchyard for use as a monument.
A copy of the draft Scheme may be inspected at the boundary of the churchyard, near the post box opposite Croxton Farm, Croxton NR21 0NP. You can also find the draft Scheme on the Commissioners’ website from the link to draft schemes online at www.ccpastoral.org or obtain or inspect a copy during normal office hours at the Church Commissioners’ office by applying to Karen Abaka-Wood. Large print and/or audio copies are available on request.
Copies are also to be found on the notice board of Christ Church, Fulmodeston NR21 0AT and inside the church.

A drop-in session will take place on Thursday, 20th July at The Old School Hall, Barney Road, Fulmodeston NR21 0AT between 3pm and 6.30 pm. The Commissioners’ and Diocesan staff will be available to answer any questions about the proposals.

Christ Church, Fulmodeston serves a working, rural community in North Norfolk. The building has recently been renovated and the congregation utilises it in as many ways as possible as part of its outreach. Concerts and events frequently take place as well as the regular services. At Christ Church, the core services are taken from the Book of Common Prayer and a number are also in modern language from Common Worhsip and elsewhere for special occasions and family services.
The church is open daily from dawn until dusk and we welcome your visit.
