St Mary's is a friendly and welcoming Church, the present building was consecrated in 1845, it is built in the Early Gothic style. It has a tower and spire that are visible for miles around. There is some excellent stained glass and the Garforth War Memorial is situated on the North Wall.
The Parish Centre, which is adjacent and joined to the Church by a glassed-in walkway was opened in 1997. This is a community facility which has all the requisite facilities for meetings and events and has accessible toilet facilities.
