St Sebastian

St Sebastian's Church serves the communities of Great Gonerby village and Gonerby Hill Foot. Our mission is to love God, live as Jesus taught us to, share the good news of the love of God and grow through reading and discussing the Bible and in prayer.  Everyone is welcome to join us on a Sunday morning or for one of our events. We meet in Church at 10.30am every Sunday (unless it is a 5th Sunday and then we join with one of the other churches in our group, The West Grantham Group of Villages). You can find out much more by visiting our group website.

Our 10:30 a.m. service (every Sunday) is a mixture of hymns and modern songs. We usually follow this pattern:
1st Sunday-Morning Prayer, led by our Reader
2nd Sunday is Holy Communion led by one of our retired priests.
3rd Sunday is All Age Service-which is specifically designed for all the family! Led by our Priest in Charge
4th Sunday is Holy Communion led by one of our retired priests.

An exciting new project for St Seb's!

Safeguarding

Our parish of Great Gonerby: St Sebastian is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Mrs Alyson Ashby -her details can be found on the Safeguarding page of our website] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [for details, view our website]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
