Church of the Good Shepherd, Sandhills

We are a new worshipping community within Church of England, that opened our doors on Sunday 6 October 2013.

We meet at Astral Park Sports and Community Centre every Sunday at 09:45 and welcome all who want to worship God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as well as those exploring Christian faith. Alongside our Sunday services we host an outdoor cafe each week, with hot and cold drinks and pastries - all free of charge.

We are part of The Church of England in the area (Ouzel Valley Team), within The Diocese of St Albans.

See our website, http://goodshepherdsandhills.org.uk for more.

Safeguarding

Church of the Good Shepherd, Sandhills, is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. See our website for more information: https://goodshepherdsandhills.org.uk/safeguarding-children/ and https://goodshepherdsandhills.org.uk/safeguarding-policy/
