Legend has it that Saint Chad (the first Bishop of Mercia and Lindsey) came to Goxhill in the 7th Century and spent the night under a tree. This was the spot where eventually All Saints church would stand. If this story is true or not, no one really knows, but what we do know is, there has been a place of worship on that spot for the "thick end" of a thousand years. So does this mean we are stuck in the past - far from it.
Slowly but surely we move with the times, keeping what is good but always disregarding the irrelevant. We are committed to spreading the Good News into the world and bringing salvation to all. We are a mixed bunch, benefiting from the wisdom of our senior members and the enthusiasm of the youth. We are on the up, growing in numbers and strength, embracing the uncertainties of a changing world, because we know we have the Holy Spirit of the Lord among us- we are one body-we are "SAINTS ALIVE"
Whoever you are, wherever you come from, there is a place for you with us.
ALL SAINTS-ALL WELCOME
