There has been a faithful act of worship at St.Giles, Graffham since 1278, and this sacred site nestles beautifully under the wooded slopes of the South Downs. A typical Sussex Church with its external flintwork and tall spire, St.Giles takes its worthy place along the 42 mile line of Sussex Down Churches along the South Downs Way.
Each Sunday at 10.30am there is a Parish Communion apart from the second Sunday which is a Family Service followed by refreshments. There is a Sunday School which is growing steadily.
On the fifth Sunday of the month there is a traditional service of Choral Matins with a choir at 10.30am which is very popular.
Also our sister Chapel, All Saints, holds services at 6.30pm with an Evensong on the first and third Sunday of the month and a Communion on the second Sunday.
If you visit us in this peaceful haven there will be a warm welcome, and we pray also that it will provide peace and rest for your Souls as you journey from us renewed in faith, sustained in hope and inspired in love.
