Sometimes refered to as 'The Cathedral of the Dale' this magnificent church was for many centuries the only parish church in upper swaledale. Located at the river crossing the earliest fragments date from the twelvth century with the majority of the building dating from the fourteen to sixteenth centuries.
With its lepers squint, royal arms, magnificent fifteenth centuary font cover And the fine east window by Kempe, this church has much to be interest visitors to the area.
