We are a small and friendly church, made up of a wide diversity of ages, nationalities and backgrounds.
Although the Victorian church building was demolished in 1972, services are held each Sunday in the school hall of St. Augustine's Junior & Infant School, Hanson Lane.
With effect from 1st April 2009, St. Augustine's is part of a united benefice with Christ Church Mount Pellon.
The St. Augustine's Centre is open Monday to Friday, in the old victorian vicarage. It offers a wide range of activities and services for the local community, including assistance for the many asylum seekers and refugees now living in the area.
