Here’s a prospect to get your blood moving ready for Spring - Verdi’s ever-popular Requiem with HCS and the Edinburgh Royal Choral Union. Some guests from Scotland are coming to sing with us and HCS are travelling up to sing at the Usher Hall in May.
Sunday 28th promises to be a momentous day, it’s the start of British Summer Time (roll on!), Palm Sunday and the Victoria Theatre concert date.
The excitement of the Requiem, with its terrifying ‘Dies Irae’, will be balanced by the ethereal calm of ‘The Hymn of Jesus’ by Holst.
