Festival Walk
Festival Walk Beginning for 3 days On the 4th of December will begin a Great Tree Trail involving Hanbury C of E First School, Jinney Ring Craft Centre and Hanbury Church. So, for those who fancy a Christmas walk, bring your wellies along! The route starts from the Jinney Ring, goes past the Falconry and on towards the footpath gate at the bottom of the site. Before going into the field, stop off to admire the live Christmas trees decorated by “Forest School” pupils. Then cross the fields and as you pass Hanbury First School take a look at the trees decorated by the school Year- Groups. Having taken a breather make your way up the hill for a further treat – 15+ trees, all inside the Church, decorated by the Businesses, groups and families of Hanbury. The church is open from 10-4 every day on the weekend of the 4th -6th the Church has festive refreshments available and live organ music at various times. The Church festival finishes on 13th December and it has its “Crib Service” starting at 11am, once again this is open to all.
