This tiny Norman church was built around 1250 and the carved tympanum of St Michael fighting a dragon above the doorway dates from that time. Most of the stained glass is from the Decrorated period, but there are also fragments of mediaeval glass which was discovered when a new Rectory was being built in 1840. The church has a small tower with stone slated sides (unusual in this part of the country) which may have been a bellcote - it was altered in the 18th century. The tower boasts a notable weathervane.
