St. James Parish comprises the parish church(we moved out of the Victorian building in 1982), a shared ecumenical project St. Michael's United Church and close links with St. James Primary School and Goldsmith's College. Our vicar is the Reverend Neil Nicholls, we also have two Readers. We worship now, in a building that was originally a joint youth club with the council, and since 1982 has undergone two refurbishments, resulting in the beautiful worship centre we have now.

Our present project is the redevelopment of the memorial garden , which holds two war memorials, into a rememberance garden where ashes can be interred.

We now have a branch of Lewisham Foodbank (Trussel Trust)  weekly on Mondays 12-2pm
