St Michael & All Angels

Welcome to St Michael and All Angels! 

We are an inclusive, community-focussed church, that aims to help people of all ages and backgrounds encounter God in both traditional and contemporary ways.  

St Michael's seeks to be a safe place to explore faith, ask questions, and grow as a follower of Jesus.

Our weekly pattern of worship is currently:

Sundays

09:15am Holy Communion (with choir)

- 1st Sunday of the Month -  'All Together' Communion (for all ages)

- 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the month - Sunday Club for children offered during the service (with some exceptions during the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays).           

Tuesdays

10:00am Said Holy Communion or Morning Prayer

Safeguarding

The parish of St Michael's is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of St Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs (https://www.stalbansdiocese.org/safeguarding/). What's on

An All Souls Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving

for 1 hour
St Michael & All Angels
Birchwood Avenue Hatfield, AL10 0PS, United Kingdom

**1st November 2025 - 4pm**
You are warmly invited to come along to this short reflective service, to remember those we've loved and lost.
During the service we'll read out the names of those who have died, and there will be chance to light a candle in their memory. Please email Rev Kathryn with the name of your loved one/s, or add them to the list at the back of church.
The service will be followed by refreshments.
