Saint Mary's is the parish church of Barton & Sandhills. The church was built in 1958 and was designed by Nugent Cachemaille-Day.
Although we are still very young compared to some churches we continue to thrive. We are always pleased to welcome new members, and promise you a warm and friendly welcome. Why not come along and join us?

SUNDAY SCHOOL
We have a thriving sunday school which is held weekly in the sunday school room in the church hall. We usually meet up at 10am for a short session and then the children join the main service in church. The lessons are based on the readings from the main church service, and include lots of drawing and colouring of pictures. The children are also encouraged to make things related to the lessons. We welcome children between the ages of 3 to 16 years of age. Children under the age of 3 may still attend if accompanied by a parent.

Do you like singing? If the answer is "YES" well come and join us at Saint Mary's on Wednesday night we meet at 7pm for an hour. We really are a friendly bunch who enjoy singing together. You don't even have to pass an audition all you need is lots of enthusiasm.

Cash Prize Bingo.
Cash Prize Bingo takes place on the second Saturday of each month in our Church hall in Edgecombe Road in Barton. The doors open at 7pm then it's eyes down at 7:30pm. All money raised goes towards Saint Mary's Church. Over 18's only allowed to play Cash Prize Bingo. We also have a Big Prize Raffle. Refreshments are available. So come along for a good night out and help Saint Mary's Church.
