"Our other churches" section is wrong -- Dec 17 2009, 10:49 AM
Sometimes you may find that the "Our Other Churches" section of your pages does not list the correct other churches in your parish or benefice. This can often happen as a result of Pastoral Reorganisation... e.g. benefice mergers, the creation of new parishes etc.
The display of the "Our Other Churches" links AND the display of the Parish Boundary Map are both determined by which parish you have selected for your particular venue.
As long as you have selected the correct parish for your church/venue:
The reason for this is that A Church Near You associates each venue with a specific parish, all other associations are based upon that parish's entry in the Church Commissioners database.
We generally receive an update from the Church Commissioners every three or four months but their own updating process depends on their having received the necessary paperwork etc. and can therefore lag further behind.

If you can't wait and you want to add a link to the Our Other Churches section you can add it as a link via the Pages and Links tab in the control panel.

- Control Panel > Edit Church > Diocese [Dropdown]
- Control Panel > Edit Church > Parish [Dropdown is only shown if diocese selected and page saved]
